School Programs

We offer educational programs for children's groups of all ages. We currently have two programs: Pioneer for a Day which utilizes our old school house, and All About Ukraine. We are currently working hard to make an online accessible version of our school programs. Stay tuned for more information!

COVID-19 School Programming

Local schools have the ability to borrow materials for historical programming. If restrictions allow an educator from the museum can accompany to provide instruction.

So what could you borrow?

  • pysanky materials: kistka, wax, candles, dye

  • candle making materials (best suited for outdoor use)

  • pioneer laundry materials: wash tubs, wash boards, clothing, soap

  • artifacts pertaining to settlement era agricultural practices
